This one-time consignment store and many times various kinds of theaters, Visulite Theatre is a historical building that is now home to some of the hottest live music in the area. On any given night, you'll hear live jazz, bluegrass, rock, salsa and alternative music filling the club. The Visulite holds 540 people standing and can accommodate 225 seated. Many members of the Elizabeth neighborhood frequent the club, which attracts primarily an adult crowd. Visulite also has a full service bar with sodas, juices, bottled water, beer, wine, and liquor

Yelpers often say it best, so here’s a few snippets of what Yelp reviewers/customers/awesome people have to say:

“Visulite is like a little black dress. No matter the occasion, this outfit works. From the more local stuff to the bigger name acts, it is a lot of fun to catch a show here. Better than any stadium or arena show for sure. Charlotte should be proud of this venue. It rocks, jams, & grooves.”

“ Love this place. Very 1920's cinema feel to it. Not row seating, but cinema seating. Think Vegas lounge lizards...with an area for front row standups about 6 people deep.”

“Its a cool place: dark and with a sorta historical feel. There's a giant bar in the back and a stage area in the front, in front of which is a pit area where you can dance around in front of whatever band is performing; around this pit are bar stools and tables where you can sit and drink while watching. I stood in this area, away from the drunken masses in front of me, and enjoyed the show.”
