Owners  Renu and Sunil Handa bought Saffron restaurant from their friends Sangeeta and Vijay Yadav.  With 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sunil has trained in 5 Star Hotels in India and worked in Ashoka Hotel, Hyatt Regency, and Kanishka.  In fact, he and his wife owned multiple restaurants in California for 10 years.  Chef Salvinder Singh has been working with Sunil for over 8 years -- both are very passionate about the quality of food and providing excellent service to all of their visitors

Saffron offers a unique blend of traditional and contemporary Indian dishes and has set the standard for innovative Indian dining in Charlotte. The team at Saffron is committed to presenting the fresh and exciting tastes of the many regions of India, in a warm and inviting atmosphere, all designed to entice and captivate their guests.

Freshly prepared each day, Saffron serves a truly beautiful buffet spread for lunch.  Stop in from 11-2:30pm any day of the week and try a little of everything. Dinner is also served daily, and makes for a romantic date-night.  Be seated at anyone of Saffron's tables and enjoy fresh flowers on the table and simple candle light dinners.
